Art Projects To Do When Social Distancing

   Everyone during this time is probably home, bored, and needing a sparkle of creativity to brighten them up. I have brought together a few different art activities to spark creativity and release boredom.  

Pet Paintings

   If you have a pet at home like a dog or a cat, Pet Paintings are a wonderful project to do! Take your pet's paw or foot and cover it with paint. (Your pet may get messy and squirmy but that's the joy of it!) Get a piece of paper and press your pet's paw firmly down on the paper. Lift up the foot and tah-dah! You have a beautiful piece of artwork created by you and your pet! 

Nature Art

   Explore! Go out into the open to get fresh air. Bring a sketchbook, pencil, or any other art supplies you want with you! Find a cool flower, a pretty stream, or a unique piece of nature to draw or paint. Bring your drawing(s) home. Now, you will always have a piece of the outdoors sitting right in your sketchbook!

Friendship Bracelets 

   Even though we are social distancing, our friendships will last forever! Make friendship bracelets for you or your friends by using string, tape, scissors, and patterns. Once finished, you could keep the pretty bracelet for yourself or give it to a friend in the mail. Whatever works! I'm sure you would love to receive a bracelet in the mail from your friends to show that friendship lasts forever!
